Dato' Azman Awang

Founder & Chairman, Eco Five Sdn Bhd

Dato’ Azman Awang is a seasoned entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in the forestry, mining and plantation sectors. His career began with Tampin Venture Sdn Bhd, Sunli Timber Concession (M) Sdn Bhd and Asia Timber, where he developed deep operational expertise in timber management, sustainable harvesting, and supply chain coordination across Malaysia’s forestry industry.

In addition to his extensive work in timber, Dato’ Azman also played a pivotal role as part of the monitoring and operational oversight company for a gold exploration project in Merapoh, Pahang, covering an area of 40,000 hectares. Through this large-scale exploration initiative, he gained invaluable technical knowledge in resource exploration and demonstrated his capability as a competent and forward-thinking mineral entrepreneur.

Today, as the Founder and Chairman of Eco Five Sdn Bhd, Dato’ Azman leads with a clear vision — to establish Eco Five as a leading Malaysian company in sustainable forestry and plantation development. His combination of hands-on experience, proven leadership, and strong industry relationships form the foundation of Eco Five’s credibility and operational strength in the Yayasan Pahang logging project and future green ventures.

Fairuz Azman founded ECOFIVE in 2025 and serves as the company’s Creative Director. he leads the company’s vision in transforming Malaysia’s forestry and plantation industries into modern, sustainable, and socially driven enterprises.
